“Untitled (crack) is a multileveled work that questions and twists reality. On one hand minimal sculpture, on the other strangely deformed, unfinished pavement glued to the ground near the real one – inspired by works of Carl Andre and old Polish pavements. I’m interested how does it interact with the surrounding, as a painting and object. It’s a little crack, displacement. I want it to look perfect and unreal, almost like a 3D computer visualization that strikes passersby with its perfection. The point is also to show that street intervention (sculptures/installations) don’t have to be so direct and message so clear. Little bit of surrealistic form and color poetry might change more our point of view than obvious joke or turned logo.” Via Mail, Danke!
