In Malmö haben Nils Petter Löfstedt und Erik Westman einen versteckten Raum unter einem Pier gebaut: “In the Swedish city of Malmö, a couple of friends, Nils Petter Löfstedt and Erik Westman, decided to create a quite singular artwork: between January and May of 2009, they built a hidden living room in a cavity under a pier. First they painted walls, then they placed a new, wooden floor, a bench, lights, a window and a door. They spent six months working on it in order to turn the space into a cozy, quiet place to stay. Once finished, ‘The Pier’ was inaugurated with an opening party with music and friends.
