These examples are delightful. This is one of the better uses for a dead pet that I’ve seen. I’m surprised I feel as accepting and enthused about this idea as I do, but who can say no to a warm feeling in both your heart and your feet? Really quite marvelous.

Dude..they were dead before he made them into neat little carpets. Ever go to a restaurant with deer heads or cow heads on the walls? Or umm..eaten McDonald’s or something? Yeah an animal was raised and killed for your McDonald’s; these animals died of..death. And me = from America. There are sicker things in the world than a taxidermist using the remaining skin/fur from a dead dog/cat; any of you remember the Native Americans? Would go out, hunt buffalo, skin them, use the fur, tan the hides and use them for clothes, homes, eat the meat, make blankets, use the bones for tools/weapons, etc.. Do you find that sick? Or have you never looked at half the crap you eat/use in your daily lives? Take a deep breath and rethink yourselves.

We treat domestic animals like they are members of our family. This artist exposes that we only care about particular animals if we are emotionally attached to them… and exposes our disconnection to animals such as polar bears, tigers, bears and other animals that need protection. Our lack of anger, disgust and outrage of what should be of an equal amount is
an obvious comparison to our level of activism.

Before you use CAPS and foul language/threats, try to be more specific with your banter. What are you repulsed by and why? Get over the fact the animals died of natural causes and you are left with a clear answer.

Why dont you just look away then? or does the baby jesus compel you to make dumb ass comments. Its a statement about the cruel things we have already done to wild animals, its there to make you think. We can make a lot of interesting things with animal by-products, many of them you probably wear unless your a fundamental vegan.
