    These examples are delightful. This is one of the better uses for a dead pet that I’ve seen. I’m surprised I feel as accepting and enthused about this idea as I do, but who can say no to a warm feeling in both your heart and your feet? Really quite marvelous.

    What is so wrong with this, compared to other animals (skins) as carpets ? i think they’r both unestetical or ulgy if first is not a word. People say its wrong, but thats just because dogs are more common pets, than a moose or a bear, which are more accepted as carpets … i guess this is an american forum, and thus has this ignorance (yes i know i’am since i said “you americans” sadly but true thats very common with you) and narrow-mindedness all over it. like many before allrdy said, its just culture try seeing through everything that you have been taught about right and wrong, and try a more objective and try different perspectives. you cant learn anything if you go around thinking you allready know it, thus you wont try and seek differnt aspects, reasons or perspectives.

    Im not here to provoce, hurt or anger anyone, all i want is for people to be more open-minded and have some f*cking perspective, just cant stress that enough, there cant be any democracy or peace without acceptance and perspective, if you cant accept that people have their own opinions (yes i do understand i dont let people be narrow-minded(at least not without a fight(debate)))dont expect them to accept yours. Its all about having an objective respect for eachother.

    Dude..they were dead before he made them into neat little carpets. Ever go to a restaurant with deer heads or cow heads on the walls? Or umm..eaten McDonald’s or something? Yeah an animal was raised and killed for your McDonald’s; these animals died of..death. And me = from America. There are sicker things in the world than a taxidermist using the remaining skin/fur from a dead dog/cat; any of you remember the Native Americans? Would go out, hunt buffalo, skin them, use the fur, tan the hides and use them for clothes, homes, eat the meat, make blankets, use the bones for tools/weapons, etc.. Do you find that sick? Or have you never looked at half the crap you eat/use in your daily lives? Take a deep breath and rethink yourselves.

    Arg!-how is this murder dude? Maybe you are not too bright or just don’t pay attention to details in life but these animals were not killed so they could be made into rugs. They died of natural causes and THEN their owners had this proceedure done.

    I personally feel that pics of my dear departed pets are enough for me so i wouldn’t bother with this but it sure as hell isn’t “murder” what a tool.

    Qué diferencia hay entre un perro y un oso? Son animales igual que nosotros. Nos parece mal porque personificamos a las mascotas, si no fuera por eso tendríamos alfombras de perros hasta en los automóviles.

    We treat domestic animals like they are members of our family. This artist exposes that we only care about particular animals if we are emotionally attached to them… and exposes our disconnection to animals such as polar bears, tigers, bears and other animals that need protection. Our lack of anger, disgust and outrage of what should be of an equal amount is
    an obvious comparison to our level of activism.

    Before you use CAPS and foul language/threats, try to be more specific with your banter. What are you repulsed by and why? Get over the fact the animals died of natural causes and you are left with a clear answer.
