“Fast eine feindliche Übernahme: Erst 36 Stunden vor Eröffnung erfuhr das Personal des Bristol Museums, dass eine große Banksy-Ausstellung stattfindet. Doch funktioniert seine anarchische Straßenkunst auch in so bürgerlichem Rahmen?”, fragt SPON. Noch ein Video der BBC hier. “A burned-out ice-cream van is among 100 works Banksy has installed at Bristol’s museum, replacing many of the museum’s regular artefacts. The reason the museum was closed was kept secret from top council officials. Banksy said: “This is the first show I’ve ever done where taxpayers’ money is being used to hang my pictures up rather than scrape them off.” Staged in the council-owned City Museum and Art Gallery, Banksy v Bristol Museum features animatronics, installations and a sensory display. “This show is my vision of the future, to which many people will say: “You should have gone to Specsavers”, Banksy added. The exhibition and its location have been a closely-guarded secret since October, with just a couple of museum officials in the loop. “I think we may have dragged them down to our level rather than being elevated to theirs,” said Banksy of the subterfuge involved in staging the show in his home city.” (*) Die Ausstellung läuft vom 13. Gerade bei solchen Sachen wäre ne Meinung von dir irgendwie echt hilfreich/interessant/cool. Whatever. keep up the good work.

Hi Christoph! Danke für das Feedback, und ja, klar, hast Recht; aber ich habe dazu noch gar keine richtige Meinung… Ist schwer zu beurteilen, wenn man nicht vor Ort war & die Ausstellung gesehen hat… Und ich bin mir gar nicht sicher, was ich davon halten soll… Und auch sonst fällt es mir schwer, anderen meine persönliche Meinung reinzudrücken… Aber ick versteh schon & versuche mal “meinungsstärker” zu werden..

Ist nicht in gewisser Weise, die Auswahl dessen, was gefeaturt (sieht scheiße aus, egal, ihr wisst, was ich meine), schon Meinung genug?
Ich meine, dass es hier überhaupt erscheint gibt dem ein Gewicht und bringt es in die Diskussion, ob die Meinung am Ende positiv oder negativ ist, lässt sich doch grade bei Kunst häufig nur sehr subjektiv und (heutzutage immer öfter) nach einiger Zeit, in der man sich damit beschäftigt hat, sagen.
